The interaction of a patient and his/her physician is based on a relationship of trust. Like any other relationship, the patient-physician relationship is sacred and requires certain elements to maintain its balance. Trust, proper judgment, open communication, and ability to express feelings are essential for maintaining a healthy patient-physician relationship. At our office, we strive to provide an environment conducive to such relationships.
Patients come to us for complete "medical care." I examine a patient based on His/Her stated symptoms, and I also inquire about a patient's general life situations, believing that stress or environmental factors can contribute to patient's symptoms.
Medicine is not an exact science, instead it is ever-evolving. Many physicians also see medicine as an art as well as a science. This is also my belief. The successful and humane application of state-of-the-art medical techniques and medicines for the benefit and well-being of a patient makes the difference between a pure scientist and a healing physician, who understands the individual patient's emotional as well as physical needs.
I keep current on the latest changes in medicines and techniques which allows me to provide my best possible care to my patients. Moreover, as a physician with over ten years' experience, I believe I know how to communicate effectively with my patients to bring about the best compliance with my recommendations and the best possible results.
Our practice functions as a team. The team members include not only myself and the staff, but also each patient. There is significant value in this practice as a source for delivery of medical care, which could not exist without the cumulative contribution from all of us.
I acknowledge my family for providing a healthy personal environment and my staff for their loyalty and hard work. Likewise, I acknowledge all of our established patients as members of our team - for their insightful recommendations on the ways to make our practice more responsive to patients' needs and for their ongoing partnerships and referrals of other patients.
